I also love that I have known Kim since kindergarten and that she and my daughter were able to connect and become fast friends....because, why wouldn't they be?

{J & T} Knights Bridge Park

Remember the summer of 2020 when all the swimming pools were closed?

We have been making regular trips to Canby to cool off in the river at Knights Bridge Park.  

We have been loving getting outdoors and meeting up with friends regularly. 

We've even done some late night trips to the river to enjoy the cool of the evening.

Grateful that we have natures swimming pool at our fingertips.

DIY Garage Transformation

Remember the summer of 2020 when all the gyms were closed???

We've all had so much time at home these past few months that tackling home projects has become a popular COVID activity for many people.  Our home has a deep garage space that we've been using for storage and I decided it was time to turn the space into a home gym (cause who knows how long gyms will continue to be closed to the public).  I did all the work on my own and I'm really pleased with how the space turned out and even more pleased when Rich or the kids wander out to exercise in our new home gym!!!

{T} it's just not summer without the berries!

Remember the summer of 2020 when all the berry farms were closed?

Thank goodness for good friends (the Masts) who have an amazing blueberry farm and offered "friends and family" picking when most berry farms have closed for self-pick.  We took advantage of the opportunity and loaded up.  I don't know that I could stand going all summer without being able to go berry picking, even if we did have to wear masks.  

The berries (as large as Ty's eyes) have been a welcome treat to our summer meals!!

Boating with the Binghams

Best life goal ever is to arrange for your brother to build a cabin down the road from your BFF's cabin.  Can't say that I had much to do with either cabin but I definitely reap the benefit of Mike and Mel being neighbors :)

We wrapped up our week with the Wright family at Bear Lake by spending a day on the lake with the Binghams.  

It was a bonus and the perfect ending to an already fantastic week.

Another summer trip to Bear Lake is in the books and it was a good one full of swimming, boating, basketball, hiking, shakes, games, late night chats, four wheelers, trampoline, cousins, movies, laughs and love!
