New Year's Eve Eve

The night before New Year's Eve we joined Rich's brother and Rich's sister, along with their respective families, at the White River Lodge at Mt. Hood for an overnight stay.
The quick trip consisted of lots of game, lots of conversation, lots of food and lots of sledding and snow play.
Sadly the amount of snow was really low, and what was there was old and icy, but our kids made the best of it and still managed to have lots of fun!

my JOY!!!

I could not be happier with how our family photos turned out.
We had them taken in October but I haven't posted them yet because they were the basis of our Christmas card so they had to remain under wraps until the big reveal :)

Seriously, Anthony does amazing photography work and captures the best in all of us!

Dad & Boy

Isn't this a great photo?
It was taken by a friend at K's soccer game two months ago.
As much as I wanted to post it, I couldn't because I was trying to keep it a surprise from Rich because I had it printed on canvas as a gift.
But now that the gift has been presented I can post it and exclaim
I LOVE THIS PHOTO!
